I'm so glad I found your blog! I, too, am going through an anti-candida diet and can hardly stand it. In addition to that, I have other food allergies that make things worse all while trying to be vegetarian. But I'm with you, I think I need to start listening to my body more and be an omnivore if need be. Keep on with the good work!

I just made it! Thanks for the recipe :) I used honey instead of xylitol and cashew butter instead of almond butter just because that's what i had.. and it was awesome.. i'll post it on my blog soon!

Mermie, xylitol is awesome. I can't detect any aftertaste at all, and it works in almost all dishes exactly like sugar. I think the only way it doesn't is harden for candies. It's nothing like stevia - I can't stand it, either! The aftertaste is way too much for me..

Hows the xylitol though...honestly? Confess I cant stand Stevia...it has the same aftertaste to me as the artificial sweeteners. The kids hate it too. Is the xylitol different? Ive been afraid to try it.
